A NEW STUDY FINDS THE NUMBER OF SAME SEX COUPLES IN NEW MEXICO IS ON THE RISE. THE U-C-L-A STUDY SHOWS A 35- PERCENT INCREASE IN GAY COUPLES LIVING IN THE STATE FROM 2000 TO 2005. RESEARCHERS FOUND ABOUT SIX- THOUSAND SAME SEX COUPLES WERE LIVING IN THE STATE IN 2005. THOSE COUPLES LIVE IN EACH OF THE STATE'S 33 COUNTIES. THE STUDY IS BASED ON CENSUS DATA ... IT RANKS NEW MEXICO EIGHTH IN THE COUNTRY FOR PERCENTAGE OF SAME SEX COUPLES.//
